Privacy
In short: we collect only what you type into one of our two forms, we use it only to contact you about VanKaapstad, and we do not track you.
Who we are
VanKaapstad, CoC 42098348, is the controller of the personal data described here. Reach us at hello@vankaapstad.nl.
What we collect and why
Launch notification. If you sign up for launch news we store your email address and the language you were browsing in. We use it to send you one message when wholesale opens. Legal basis: your consent.
Business interest form. If you register interest we store your company name, contact name, business email, phone number (if you give one), business type and any message you write. We use it to contact you about supplying your business. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
We do not buy, sell or enrich this data, and we do not send a newsletter.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets only functional cookies: a security token that protects our forms against cross-site request forgery, and a cookie remembering your language choice if you switch languages. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking, so there is nothing to consent to and no cookie banner.
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers and Google receives your IP address in doing so.
Who processes it for us
Our site runs on Google Cloud Platform, and form submissions are stored in Google Cloud Firestore. Google acts as our processor. When ordering opens we will add our fulfilment, invoicing and payment partners here before any of your data reaches them.
How long we keep it
Launch-notification addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or until two years after launch, whichever comes first. Interest-form submissions are kept for two years after our last contact, so we can pick the conversation back up.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to our use of it. Email hello@vankaapstad.nl and we will respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
